What is paint by numbers with your own photo?
You send us your photo and it is converted into a paintable pattern. You receive a complete kit:
- A pre-printed 40 x 50 cm canvas with your photo in numbered sections
- All paint colours, numbered and ready to use (no mixing needed)
- Brushes so you can start straight away
Every number on the canvas matches a pot of paint. That is how you build up your own painting layer by layer. You do not need any painting experience.
Free photo check: so you know it will turn out well
The most frequently asked question is: "will my photo look good as a painting?" That is why we look at every photo personally before we have your kit made. Is your photo too dark, too small or too busy? Then we contact you and help you choose a better photo or crop. Only when it is right does your kit go into production.
Which photo works best?
Almost any photo will do, as long as it is sharp and well lit. Popular choices:
- Pets: your dog, cat or horse, preferably with the head large in the frame
- Family or partner: one to three people works best
- Wedding photo or anniversary
- Holiday or city trip: a landscape, beach or little street
- A precious memory of someone you miss
Tips for the best result:
- Choose a photo taken in daylight, without harsh shadows
- Make sure the subject is large in the frame
- A calm background gives a calmer painting
- Use the original file, not a screenshot or a photo forwarded via WhatsApp (those are often reduced in size)
